Modern Social was born from experience, frustration and a belief that businesses deserve better. We began our careers marketing together within a larger organisation, but quickly saw the limitations of outdated strategies and top down thinking that failed to reflect how modern audiences actually behave online. Marketing was treated like a tick box exercise, not a powerful growth engine.


So we built something different.
Meanwhile, business owners everywhere were trying to keep up with a digital world that moves at lightning speed. There was too much noise, too many opinions, and very little genuine guidance from people who actually knew what they were doing.

A young, knowledgeable and passionate team dedicated to helping businesses modernise the right way. Creative, hands on and forward thinking, with a focus on real results rather than old school methods.

Modern Social launched in 2021 when our Managing Director, Jack Griffiths began working closely with local business owners to elevate their marketing. The results were impossible to ignore. Without restrictions, Jack delivered modern, high performing marketing that outdated models failed to keep up with.
Social media accounts began to grow rapidly. Paid ad campaigns started booming with new leads and tangible revenue. Early clients were getting real results, and it became clear that we could help far more people than the limits of our corporate roles allowed.

There was a moment where it clicked: we were young, knowledgeable and capable of cutting through the noise in a way that genuinely resonated with business owners. They trusted us, and the results kept coming.
Modern Social began with Jack freelancing alongside full-time employment, officially incorporating the business six months later. Soon after, lifelong friend and creative collaborator Charlie Kennedy joined as Creative Director during a period of rapid growth.


Late nights, long days and complete dedication shaped the early era of Modern Social. We stayed true to our network, showed up for our clients and delivered work far beyond expectations.
As growth accelerated, we brought in Max Tunesi, completing the trio from our previous marketing department. The modern marketing dream team was back together, and everything clicked into place.
What started as a freelance venture evolved into a fast growing, results driven agency built on passion, teamwork and a truly modern approach.
Our Philosophy
